Akadama

DESCRIPTION

Volcanic Akadama for cultivation of cacti, succulents and bonsai. It’s a volcanic clay collected a few meters below the ground level in the forests of Criptomerie in Japan and exported all over the world. Washed, dried and sterilized to remove organisms and parasites. Fine particle size assorted 2/5 mm. The Akadama can be mixed with pumice, volcanic lapilli, zeolite and perlite to make the soil richer in nutrients and more similar to the natural characteristics in which plants live or it can be used alone as the only component of the soil.

RECOMMANDED USE

• Providing the right balance of water, air and nutrients;
• Holds a long time without water soak the roots;
• It contains large amounts of minerals due to its volcanic origin;
• Preparation of molds for fresh horticultural nursery professional outdoor and protected crops;
